The base is crafted from nickel silver and finished in 18K gold plating, then hand-painted with Musou Black, one of the darkest coatings available—absorbing light and creating a near void-like backdrop.
Against that darkness, the engraved mission elements rise sharply in gold relief, giving the dial an almost floating, three-dimensional effect. The result is dramatic, controlled, and unmistakably different from traditional finishes.
